About Me

I knew when I was eight years old that I wanted to be a teacher! Growing up in a household with two parents as teachers, kids have always been my passion. I am from South Florida – Fort Lauderdale to be exact – and moved to Tallahassee to attend Florida State University in 2009. I moved to Orlando immediately after graduating, taught high school for two years, middle school for one, and am now at Oakland Avenue, a place that I am honored to call home. I have a cat named Linus and I live in Winter Garden, which I love! I am an avid runner, I compete regularly in 5Ks around the Clermont and Orlando area and played soccer for 15 years of my life. I have two older brothers and am fortunate to have them in the state of Florida.
