Behavior Plan and Expectations


 Behavior

I strongly believe in using positive reinforcement as much as possible in the classroom to help guide students to make appropriate behavior choices. I use the 4-colored clip chart as explained below.

  • Blue!!! – Student is showing above and beyond  behavior (note written in the student's agenda)
  • Green – Student is showing appropriate behavior
  • Yellow – Student is having some trouble behaving after given warnings (note written in the student's agenda)
  • Red – Student is not behaving appropriately after several warnings (note written in the student's agenda)

                

Rewards

Listed below are some of the items students can earn rewards for throughout the school year.

  • Passing math facts
  • Passing sight words
  • Completing I-Ready lessons weekly
  • Completing 25 I-Ready lessons each quarter
  • Green and Blue behavior in class
  • Completing Homework
