Building Permit Instructions

Step 1: Review submittal requirements, fees, and more at  http://pdcsllc.com/cities/oakland/
Step 2: Fill out the Building Permit Application
Step 3: Submit application and other necessary documents at the Town Hall.
Step 4: You will be contacted when your permit is approved and ready for in-person pickup and payment.


Required with every permit: 
  • Copy of Current State Business License
  • Copy of Certificate of General Liability Insurance
  • Copy of Workers' Compensation (or a copy of exemption form)

Tree Permit Instructions

Step 1. Fill out tree permit application
Step 2. Submit the application in person at the Town Hall.
Step 3. You will be contacted after the permit has been reviewed.


Special Events Instructions

Step 1. Fill out the Special Event Application
Step 2. Email to pmartinez@oaklandfl.gov or drop-off in Town Hall lobby.
Step 3. Pickup and payment in person at Town Hall lobby. 

*Be sure to apply for special events at least 1 month in advance*
