How do I obtain a copy of an incident or traffic crash report?
If you have been involved in an incident or a traffic crash which was investigated by the Oakland Police Department, you may obtain a copy of the report from our records section, located at the Police Station, at 540 E Oakland Avenue. The normal hours for our records section are from 8:30 a.m. until noon and 1 p.m. until 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. These reports are generally available 7 days after the incident or crash.

The cost for copying reports is $0.15 for a single sided page and $0.20 for a double sided page. Traffic crash reports are $4. Any administrative costs associated with the copying of reports or other records are in accordance with Florida State Statutes.

Traffic crash reports can also be obtained online at the BuyCrash website.
