Recreational Vehicle Storage

Section 46-39 of the Code of Ordinances


Recreational vehicles may be stored, unoccupied, in any zoning district subject to the following:
  1. In residential districts, a recreational vehicle may be parked on the rear half of the lot at least ten feet from side lot lines and five feet from rear lot lines.
  2. The recreational vehicle shall be owned by the owner or occupant of the lot when stored in a residential district.
  3. Permits for storing unoccupied recreational vehicles shall be required from the zoning department.
  4. Recreational vehicles may not be stored or parked on commercial or industrial property unless within a parking area that has been designated for such vehicles on an approved site plan.
